You know what? It's okay to be happy. It's okay to be sad, worried, down... It's all okay.
Because, that emotions, just like happiness, they're moods.
They're something just as okay to feel as happiness is.
But, when you think you can survive, just smile.
Smile though your heart is aching, smile even though it's breaking. If you smile through your fear and sorrow, maybe tomorrow you'll see the sun come shining through for you.
Light up your face with gladness. Hide every trace of sadness. Although a tear may be ever so near. That's the time you must keep on trying smile, what's the use of crying? You'll find that life is still worthwhile if you just smile.
But when sometimes it seems like things are against you and one thing after another is just going wrong, and you can't smile no more, even you'tried so hard to smile, it's really okay not to be happy. And it's okay to own it, to put it on and know that it is how you feel.
When you're tired of pretending, or when you think that you can't keep this all alone, just say you're not okay. Tell them that you're not okay. Spill it out.
Because somehow, pretending too much, ignoring it too much, and putting the other emotions in a box of shelf just means one day you have a really full box you can no longer ignore.
When that day comes, you can feel happiness no more.
You can't even smile.
